About Me

ALLN9012

Oh, hi there! Whoever you are and wherever in the world you’re from, I am delighted to have you here. Please stay for a while and let’s get to know each other.

My name is Divina, I’m the eldest to two sisters and three brothers whom I adore with all my being. I’m frolicking through my late twenties and forever darting between my motherland, the Philippines, and the cosmopolitan city I grew up in that is Dubai (otherwise known as the Best City ever). I developed a love for reading in the early years of my life as I grew up not having a squad of friends whom I can have an amazing waste of time with, hence lazy days were spent in the comfort and confines of my room with my head buried under a pile of books. The experience of getting lost in the books I have read lit up a spark in me to start writing on my own terms, thus giving birth to my first blog account on Friendster followed by an overflow of random blogposts on Multiply. Boy, those were the days.

I have been blogging since I was sixteen-years-old and at one point in my life, aspired to become a full-fledged blogger. However, I could never be referred to as such by any stretch of imagination as reality of life ensued, so I eventually ended up chasing numbers for a living – hey, it pays the bills so I’m not complaining. On the other hand, many years have passed since I had written a number of journal articles on a professional level, paralyzing my writing mojo… until two years ago. With the right perspective, I greased the wheels by setting up another blog which I have now named,

The Quesobelle.

A fusion of two elements:

Queso, for I am known to be cheesy

Belle, for a lady

Initially, this website was established as a means to showcase my fairly standard outfits, but later on I felt restricted and deprived of the pleasure of writing and sharing whatever inspires me. Here at The Quesobelle, you will find a salad of write-ups about my growing fascination in fashion, photography, fitness, and my personal relationship with Jesus. Furthermore, my imagination is easily unbarred by sunrises and sunsets, fuelling my desire to inspire you in ways that will help you find and use your creativity.

Now that I have let you in on my dream, please… Call Me Divi.
