It’s been over two months since my last blog post, and I’m sorry for that. I keep intending to blog but – obviously – haven’t gotten to it. The main reason is that my relationship with my blog was in flux due to a series of unforeseen and planned events that demanded a lot of my time and attention. Moreover, I just don’t get on my laptop as much these days because I’ve been spending most of my time chasing the sunset on the beach, chilling with my friends, and working out… which I will be writing more about in the coming days, or weeks.

In addition, I surrendered my blog into the hands of Mr. Allan Roska for a major overhaul, as you might have noticed. This also explains my blogging sabbatical, as many would call it. Man, Allan enthusiastically goes above and beyond the call of duty, bounding over walls and expending great energy just to produce the best for his girlfriend, ahem, me. Such enthusiasm is contagious, which is why I’m back here enthusiastically blabbering with my enthusiastic fingers. Here’s to hoping the enthusiasm doesn’t wear off. I love my new blog layout, by the way. Props to the boyfriend!

On a glaring note, I am brimming over with so many memorable experiences that I’m finding it difficult to tell which to lay emphasis on. Here’s an abridged run of the recent past off the top of my head:

1) I’ve been working out… at home. I’m not a fan of going to the gym – more on this later
2) My brother arrived in Dubai
3) I got in touch with my bestfriends
4) My bestfriends and I are hanging out oftener
5) Enjoyed a few out-of-town trips with my bestfriends and chums
6) I finally bought my own car in the Philippines via my daddy
7) Attended a few birthday celebrations, including mine ๐Ÿ˜›
8) I have been soaking up the 4PM sun at the beach mostly on weekends
9) Insert more-fun-stuff-that-happened-but-can’t-remember here

Anyway, I wanted to talk to you about my serious obsession with sunsets and my constant chase of the golden hour but I will save that for later. I’ve had quite a lot of refreshing moments just sitting down on the silky sands of the sea and acknowledging the abounding beauty that surrounds me. God made everything so beautiful – it’s a pity that I take it for granted most of the time.

Well, that would be it for now. I hope you visit The Quesobelle again soon!

When my friends and I went to spend a few days out of town, I thought it a good opportunity to wear this beautiful mermaid skirt that I scored from Alice McCall, and given its minimal nature and design, it was easy for me to integrate it into my wardrobe. I matched it to my printed-but-understated top to offset against the silver and gray background, and voila! This instantly became one of my favorite pairings. {oh, I shifted to a greener “pasture” and took a snap using my phone, tsk tsk)
