Last year, I started dipping my toes into the dicey waters of fashion blogging which  sparked an impassioned interest in me to do some outfit posts of my own. After working up enough courage to model for my photographer boyfriend, we headed out to a nearby park to showcase my cheesy dress while Allan snaps away,

giving birth to my first (ever!) outfit post in Feb 2013. This was followed by another one a few weeks later, featuring my cutesy gray dress. However, I’ve become entirely occupied with other things resulting in a long hiatus from blogging about my fairly standard outfits. Now that I have cleared all those things out of my way, I am drawn back to posting about the thing that tickles my fancy! Today’s twinkling star is my pink mermaid skirt that I picked up from ZARA a couple of weeks ago. I coaxed my lovely boyfriend to take photos of me while I twirl around here and there in it. I originally planned to style my skirt in 2 ways, however, the heat in Dubai has caused my enthusiasm to spiral down several gears, much to my photographer’s dismay. Hence, we ended up with only these ūüėõ

I have made my recent trip to Malta known through my incessant posts on Twitter and Instagram, and well, you probably already know that my Mom was with me. On our second day, we both played dress-up and took the moment to my advantage: Yup, you’ve guessed right! I asked my dear mom to take photos of me in my pink skirt! This look, styled appropriately on that day due to the lovely weather, was quite simply inspired by a newcomer to my wardrobe: my polka dot cropped top! Hats off to my mom for doing a great job ūüėÄ
